BURSA, TURKIYE - APRIL 23: An arctic tern, a rare bird species in Turkiye, flies near the Golyazi village on the shores of Lake Uluabat, which has risen due to heavy rainfall during the winter months in Nilufer district of Bursa, Turkiye on April 23, 2026. As the water level rose, activity increased in the lake's natural habitat. With the rise in water levels and the resulting increase in fish diversity, the village became a resting and feeding area for many migratory bird species, especially pelicans on their migration route.
