NEW YORK, US - MAY 5: Celebrations held at Brooklyn College in New York as part of Israel's Independence Day activities were protested by supporters of Palestine on Thursday, May 5.Yom Ha’atzmaut, also known as Israel Independence Day which is marked each year on the fifth day of the Hebrew month of Iyar (May 4-5), was protested by Muslims, especially Palestinians, and some Jewish groups living in the US.Participants in the protest condemned Israel's violence against the Palestinian people.
