NSosyalBreeders keep watch as lambing season begins in eastern Turkiye
TUNCELI, TURKIYE - MARCH 24: Sheep and lambs are seen on a snow-covered path during the lambing and kidding season as the lambing and kidding season continues in Ovacik district of Tunceli, Turkiye on March 24, 2026. Small livestock breeding is among the main sources of income in villages including Konaklar, Pasaduzu, Havuzlu, Koseler, Koyungolu, Guneykonak, Gozeler and Cakmakli. Breeders, who care for their animals year-round, remain on watch in barns during the January–March period to assist animals when necessary.
